Eat, experience, post. That's the job.
Inside the app, local businesses post visits that read like price tags: the offer, the ask, and the distance, all on the card. And your own page shows every business exactly why you're the one to book — starting with how many of your followers live right here.
Offers that read like price tags.
This is your home screen when you're logged in: open visits near you, each one showing what you get, what they ask, and how far it is. If a business has hosted creators before, its track record is right there too.
Places that want you in the room.
Local spots offering a free visit or a paid post. What you see is exactly what you get — the offer, the ask, and how far away it is. No vague promises of “exposure.”
Sunroom Studio
Fade Factory
Neon Palms Rooftop
Velvet Brush Studio
Grab a spot that fits your feed and your neighborhood. The offer on the card is the whole deal — nothing hidden later.
Enjoy it like a regular, then post your honest take within 48 hours. Paid posts release your money the moment the post is live.
Your post carries your code, so the business sees exactly who walked in because of you. That's what gets you booked again.
Your page sells you while you sleep.
When a business opens your page, they don't see a follower count and a prayer. They see the share of your audience that lives in their city, what a booking gets them, and proof from your past visits — counted, not claimed.

Your audience, up close
Momentum — your reliability score. You earn it by posting on time and getting invited back. Businesses see it on your page, and it moves you up the shelf. Post on time and it only goes one direction.
Proof, counted — your track record, tracked in the app.
Her post brought in 186 counted visits in the two weeks after it went up.
94 counted visits, and Juniper booked her again the next month.
Comped, or paid. You pick, every time.
Comped visits
A business hosts you — a meal, a service, an experience — and you post your honest take. No cash changes hands. It's how you build counted proof fast.
- 1 post + 1 story, up within 48 hours of the visit
- Honest and disclosed — you only post places you'd go back to
- Every counted visit raises your Momentum and your shelf spot
Paid bookings
Businesses book you at your listed rate — $50 floor, no ceiling but yours. The money is held before your visit and released the moment your post is live.
- You keep 97% — the 3% covers card and transfer fees
- No invoices, no net-90, no chasing anyone for your money
- Paid bookings include a 90-day licence for the business to reuse your post
Before you ask.
Does it cost anything to join Magpie as a creator?
No. Magpie is free for creators. Always. Businesses pay the platform. You never pay to join, to list, or to get booked. On standard visits the comp itself is the pay.
What does Magpie charge on paid bookings?
Joining and comped visits are free. On paid bookings the fee is 6 percent total, split evenly, so you keep 97 percent. Payment is held until the post is live, and refunded in full if the visit or post never lands.
How do creators get paid on Magpie?
On standard visits the comp is the pay. Any creator can set a paid rate, and when a business books you at it, you keep 97 percent. Headliners are also eligible for featured paid campaigns.
When do I actually get paid?
When your post goes live. On a paid booking the business pays up front and Magpie holds the money until your post is live, then releases it to you. No invoices, no chasing, and no Net 30, 60 or 90 day terms. If the visit or the post never lands, the business is refunded in full instead.
Can a business make me revise my post again and again?
No. Every visit has one defined deliverable, agreed before you claim: 1 post or reel plus 1 story that shares the post, in your own voice. The brief is written up front, so what is expected is never a surprise, and no business can script your words or demand endless edits.
Do I have to post something positive?
Never. Honest posts only. Businesses cannot require a positive post, and any business that pressures a creator is removed.
What do I have to post, and how fast?
The goal is 1 post or reel plus 1 story that shares the post within 48 hours of your visit, disclosed as comped, for example #gifted. The post stays live for at least 30 days. Up to a week at the outside still counts, but hitting the 48-hour goal is what earns the Momentum. No post inside the week means a replacement visit for the business and a hit to your standing.
What if I can't make a visit I claimed?
Tell us in the app before your visit window closes. A visit you flag in time is released back to the business and does not count against you. Going silent is what hurts: a no-show with no post means a hit to your standing, and repeat no-shows are removed from the roster.
How many followers do I need to join Magpie?
Magpie starts at 500 total followers across your platforms. Your counts stack across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X and LinkedIn. Tiers are Neighbors 500 to 2,000, Locals 2,000 to 15,000, and Headliners 15,000 plus. A small local audience beats a big scattered one.
My city is not in the rollout. Can I still join Magpie?
Yes. Founding rosters are forming in 45 markets across 13 countries. In any other city, sign up with your home city and finish your profile. When your city opens, you are in its founding circle, and first pick goes to completed founding profiles. Cities are picked by signup counts, and every completed profile moves its city closer to opening.
How do I get comped meals for posting?
Apply for your city roster, free. Claim the comp offers you want, visit like a real customer, and post honestly with disclosure, with the goal of posting within 48 hours of your visit. The comp is the pay.
Can small creators get brand deals?
Yes. Local businesses shop by audience location, not follower count. Tiers start at 500 total followers across your platforms, and 1,000 local followers is exactly what they want.
How do I become a local creator?
Apply with your home city and handle, then complete your profile. Claim offers, show up, and the goal is to post within 48 hours of your visit. Delivered posts build the record that gets you picked first.
What are Momentum points?
Momentum points are your record, turned into priority. You earn them by delivering: an on-time post is +20, completed visits and ratings add more, and creators who join through your invite link earn you +3 when they join and +10 when they are approved. Points order the list businesses see when they choose creators, so a strong record gets you picked first.
Do restaurants really give free food for posts?
Yes. The business offers a free meal or service and you post your honest experience, disclosed as comped, for example #gifted. Businesses cannot buy a positive post.
Is Magpie a UGC creator program?
Partly. You post to your own audience, not brand channels. Comp visits are native share only. Repost and ad rights come only with paid visits, as one standard 90-day license. You own your content.
How long does review take?
Every founding application gets a decision or clear status within 2 business days, reviewed by a person in sign up order.
What do I get today, before my market opens?
Three things, starting the day you finish your profile. Your creator page is live and on Google that day. Your paid rate and licensing fee are public on your page, so businesses see your price before they book you. And your founding order is recorded: founding creators see new offers first when their market opens.
Are my rates public on Magpie?
Yes. The paid rate and licensing fee you set show on your public creator page, so businesses see your price before they book you. When a business books you at your rate, you keep 97 percent of it.
Your city's founding roster is forming.
Founding creators see every offer first when their city opens, and finished profiles are the ones businesses see first. Claim your page and finish it before your city's businesses arrive.
Don't see your city? No worries.
Magpie is expanding rapidly, and new cities open where creators pile up first. Sign up now and finish your profile: when your city opens, you're already in its founding circle, and first pick of its first businesses goes to completed founding profiles. Every completed profile moves its city closer.
Free for creators, always. 500 followers is enough.
