Where should Magpie launch next?
Magpie's founding markets now span 13 countries, from Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads to Dubai, London to Toronto, and founding sign-ups are open in every one of them. A market opens when its roster will be dense and truly local, and signups decide the order from there. Every application with your city on it moves your city up the board.
Your city could be next
Magpie is expanding rapidly, and new cities join the roster where creators pile up first. No request form, no waiting list: sign up now from any city and finish your profile, and when your city opens you are in its founding circle, with first pick of its first businesses going to completed founding profiles. Signups are counted every day, and the deepest lists open first.
Free for creators, always. 500 followers is enough.
Sixteen cities joined the roster in October 2026
Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Columbus, New Orleans, Orlando, Houston, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Detroit, San Juan, Paris, Barcelona, Lisbon, Toronto, Montreal, Dublin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Mexico City are founding markets now, with founding sign-ups open. That is the path in for every city: enough people sign up, and the city joins the roster.

45 markets, 13 countries
Founding rosters are forming in all 45 markets right now. No market is ahead of another: each opens in a wave once its roster is ready, founders get first pick of its first businesses, and founding status never expires.

Decided entirely by signups. No polls, no press releases, the cities whose creators and businesses actually show up are the cities that launch next.
Sign up from any cityHow a city gets picked
Sign up, name your city
Creator sign-ups and business sign-ups all count, every one of them carries a city. That count is the ranking.
The count is the ranking
When a city's list gets deep enough to launch a real roster, it opens. Deep lists launch first. It's that simple, and it's public.
Your list founds your city
The people on a city's list before it opens become its founding roster, first pick of its first businesses, founding status that never expires.
Forty-five founding markets across thirteen countries
Founding sign-ups are open in every market below. Markets open in waves over the launch window as each founding roster completes, founding businesses hold founding pricing, and every market carries the same founding status. Seven markets are defined by their full city lists: those lists are Magpie's published metro definitions, the geographies a creator's local audience percentage is measured against. The Virginia Beach market covers all of Hampton Roads. The other markets are listed by their anchor city, with their full definitions published as each market opens. Do not see your city? Sign up anyway: anyone can sign up from any city, listed or not, and an unlisted signup starts your city's founding circle.
