Word of mouth is local.
This page shows you the inside of the app before you ever sign up: a shelf of local creators, each one a full product page, ranked by how many of their followers live in your city. Book a visit, and every post gets counted at your register.
Shop creators like products.
Filter by category, neighborhood, and how local their audience is. Every card carries the same things: the local % with the local follower count right under it, the price, the accepts-comps toggle, the proof, and the book button.
Creators your neighbors already follow.
Ranked by one thing first: how many of their followers actually live in London. A huge following somewhere else doesn't fill your tables on Saturday. A local one does.

Saved creators wait here until you book them or take them off the list. Nobody else can see your shortlist.
Then you open one up.
Every creator has a full page, built like a product page: the big local number first, what you get in plain checkmarks, proof that's counted instead of promised, and a booking box that works like buying anything online.

What you get
Her audience, up close
Momentum — her reliability score. Nadia earns Momentum by posting on time and getting invited back. The higher the number, the safer the booking. Hers is near the top of London.
Proof, counted — real visits, tracked in the app. Not estimates.
Her post brought in 186 counted visits in the two weeks after it went up.
94 counted visits, and Dayglow booked her again the next month.

3-month minimum · No per-location charge · Paid bookings are separate: the creator sets the rate ($50 floor), keeps 97%, and you pay a 3% transaction fee on top. Comped visits never involve cash.
From shelf to Saturday night.
Pick a creator, pick a day, comped or paid. The offer card spells out exactly what you get: 1 post + 1 story, up within 48 hours of the visit.
The creator visits like a regular, enjoys it for real, and posts an honest, disclosed take. Paid bookings release the money only when the post is live.
The post carries their code. Visits get counted, not estimated — connect Square and the register confirms it. Then you book the winners again.
Before you ask.
Only if you choose a paid booking. Comped visits are the plan's core: you host the creator, they post. Paid bookings use the creator's own listed rate, with a $50 floor, and the creator keeps 97%.
That's what the standards are for. Posts are due within 48 hours; late and missed posts hit the creator's Momentum and visibility, and a no-show earns you a replacement visit. On paid bookings, you pay nothing until the post is live.
Magpie is built and rolling out across its founding markets now. Founding businesses apply, lock the founding rate, and get first pick of the roster as their city opens.
More questions businesses ask us
Is Magpie the cheapest way to hire local creators?
On total cost, yes. Small creators average about $200 a post and managed quotes commonly run $1,000 or more. Self-Service is $199 a month for up to 5 visits, about $40 a visit, comped with your product at your cost. Every creator is local.
How is this different from other influencer platforms?
National platforms sell reach, local tools sell vouchers at your register. Magpie shows local audience share before you choose, redeems comps in the app, tracks posts against a 48-hour goal backed by a replacement guarantee, and never requires positive posts.
How many creators will come out?
We do not guarantee a headcount. What stands behind every accepted visit is the Visit Guarantee: if no tracked post appears within a week, the visit is replaced and does not count against your plan. You control your visit allowance: 5 on Self-Service, 10 on Growth, 20 on Managed. The goal is for creators to post within 48 hours of the visit, and on-time posts earn them Momentum.
What is the Visit Guarantee?
If a booked creator does not show up or does not post, that visit does not count against your monthly visits. It is replaced.
What is the refund policy?
Paid bookings are held until the post is live and refunded in full if the visit or post never lands. If we cannot deliver, including a market that does not open, founding businesses get a full refund. Plans run month to month after the 3 month minimum.
What does the comp actually cost me?
Whatever you offer: a meal for two, a service, a package. You set the comp and ceiling. It costs your cost, not retail, and Magpie never touches comp money.
Can creators trash my business?
Creators post honest experiences and cannot be required to post positively. In practice, good experiences get good posts. Factually false posts or rule violations are reviewed with you.
Why the 3-month minimum?
Because one month of posts is not a marketing strategy, it is a coupon. Creator marketing compounds over a season of trusted posts, and three months is the honest runway. After that, plans run month to month and founding pricing stays locked while subscribed.
How do I know it worked?
Your dashboard tracks every visit, every live post, estimated local reach, and redemptions of the trackable offer attached to each visit. See the sample dashboard for exactly what that looks like.
Can Magpie count visits at my register automatically?
Yes, if your register is Square. Turn on Square in Proof Controls, the settings panel in your Magpie account, and sign in with your Square account. Creator codes and comeback passes then run as discounts in Square, and Magpie checks Square regularly and reads the redemptions back into your counted results with the real dollars from your register. If a register number and a tally typed in by hand ever disagree, the register number counts. Without Square, your team logs codes in the app and they count the same way, typed in by hand.
Are a creator's followers actually in my city?
That is the ranking. Every creator carries a local audience share: the share of their followers who live in your market. It is printed on their card before you choose, so a creator with 1,500 followers who mostly live here outranks a much bigger account whose audience lives somewhere else.
Do creators pitch me for free stuff?
No. You choose: browse the roster, see each creator's local audience share, delivery record and rate up front, and invite the ones who fit. Every visit runs on the same tracked terms, so there is no freebie negotiation in your inbox and no bad review pressure, ever.
Can I create my business account today?
Not yet. Businesses sign up when we are ready to launch, market by market as each roster completes. Join the founding list to hold your category spot in order and lock founding pricing: $199, $349, or $699 a month.
How do I get creators to post about my business?
Post a comp offer with its value and visit count. Roster creators claim it, visit like real customers, with the goal of posting within 48 hours of the visit. If a week passes with no post, the visit is replaced. Managed includes a coordinator who books for you.
How does Magpie decide which creators to show my business?
Every creator is scored against your business on content fit, neighborhood, local audience, and delivery record, with reasons on their card. Follower count is not a signal. Sort by Best fit, or by who joined first.
How much does influencer marketing cost for a small business?
Published pricing: $199 a month Self-Service for up to 5 visits, $349 Growth for up to 10 visits, $699 Managed for up to 20, with a 3 month minimum. Your only other cost is the comp you choose.
What types of businesses can use Magpie?
Almost any local business people visit in person, across dining, cafes, nightlife, beauty, health, fitness, retail, experiences, hospitality, events, and visual services. If customers are local and it shows well on camera, it fits. Health and aesthetic posts are personal experiences only, with disclosure and no treatment claims.
Does influencer marketing work for restaurants?
Yes. Restaurants and bars are the core category. Local creators visit like real guests and post within 48 hours to followers who can book this week.
What is micro-influencer marketing, and is it right for a small business?
Micro-influencer marketing means working with smaller creators instead of big national accounts: on Magpie, Neighbors at 500 to 2,000 followers and Locals at 2,000 to 15,000, concentrated in your city. Magpie shows each creator's local audience share before you choose, so a micro-influencer whose followers live here outranks a bigger account whose audience lives somewhere else.
Can Magpie work like a brand ambassador program for my small business?
Yes. Favorite creators who fit, rebook them with one tap, and build regulars who post monthly. Managed clients get a coordinator to maintain that set.
Is this UGC?
Yes, in effect, with one difference that matters. Generic UGC is content from anyone, anywhere, often people who have never visited. Magpie posts are made by local creators your customers already follow, posted to their own audiences here in your city. You can license any post for your own channels and ads. Comped posts are native share only until licensed; paid bookings include one standard license for 90 days of repost and ad use.
Do I get UGC I can reuse in my own marketing?
Delivered posts save to your content library. Comp visits are native share only, with credit: no ad use. Paid visits include one standard license: 90 days of repost and ad use, agreed in the booking terms. To run a comped post as an ad instead, send the creator a license request at their listed licensing fee: 90 days, they approve each use, and they keep 97% of the fee. Creators own their content.
I already have a referral program. Does Magpie replace it?
No. Paste your referral link or code once and it rides on every opportunity. Bookings track in your own program and dashboard. Magpie never touches your rules or payouts.
We have multiple locations. Do we pay per location?
No. One plan covers every location. Plans scale by visits per month, 5, 10, or 20, usable across all locations.
